Weekly Context — Before the Week Begins
Every week starts with a specific preparation step on the weekly chart. Two key levels are identified and marked. These levels frame everything that happens in the sessions ahead.

Structure — Reading the Macro Picture
Before any entry, the higher timeframes are read. Is the market breaking structure or retesting it? This question alone eliminates a significant number of bad trades before they happen.

Direction — One Bias, No Exceptions
The system uses a specific combination of session data and a single moving average to define directional bias. Both must agree. If they conflict — there is no trade. Full stop.

Before any entry is considered, price must meet a specific condition relative to a key intraday level. If it doesn't — you wait. This filter alone is worth the price of enrollment.

The Opening Range Setup
The Box Trade
Time-based · Volatility filtered · Opening session
This setup occurs in the first 15 minutes of the session. It uses a volatility filter to determine whether the market has enough movement to trade. Most days, the setup doesn't qualify — and that's by design. When it does qualify, the rules are exact.

The entry is triggered on a lower timeframe. The stop and target are both defined before the trade is placed.

The Structure Continuation Setup
2 Fractals
Pattern-based · Multi-confirmation · Requires patience
This setup is built on a specific price formation visible on the chart. It requires two independent conditions to be true simultaneously — neither alone is enough to enter. This AND requirement keeps students out of the majority of false signals.

It can appear at any point in the session, but only after specific market conditions are met after the open.

What markets does this system work on?
The Check-Down System works on any liquid market — US equities, futures (ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ), forex pairs, and crypto. The rules are based on price action and session timing, which apply universally. The instructor primarily trades YMM6 Micro Dow Futures.
I'm an experienced trader. Is this course still for me?
Yes — and experienced traders often get the most from this course. The structured pre-session routine and the specific rule conditions for both setups add precision to what many experienced traders already do instinctively. The confirmation layer in Modules 5 and 6 is particularly valuable for traders already familiar with price action.
Do I need TradingView?
Yes. All indicators and chart setups in the course are on TradingView (free or paid). Module 5 includes a complete setup walkthrough with exact settings for every indicator.
